Watching these things for 25 years has taught me that NC snowstorms that ride the line end up being a burst of snow and  then a sleet fest in Durham. I hope we have an over performer and we all get crushed. Typical spots west to the Triad and north towards VA will do better. I am not complaining, we are starved and I love it. Give me that crunchy stuff. Radar looks juicy!

If the mid levels continue to warm up... I want the lower levels to as well. Id rather rain than ice.

What I keep seeing consistently in the models is that there is going to be some sort of narrow corridor that’s typical of a southern slider that’s going to over perform greatly. Seems like there’s two camps:

 

1. Forest City to just west of Salisbury

2. @wncsnowto Statesvegas and High Point
