Brick Tamland
NAM is still warmer than all the other models. Hardly anything here but all the other models have me getting 2 to 4 inches.
GunBlade
It also takes the NAM 5 hours to model what the radar returns currently look like…

Brick Tamland
I don't think the precip is going to be a problem. It's going to come down to colder vs warmer.

digital snow
Watching these things for 25 years has taught me that NC snowstorms that ride the line end up being a burst of snow and then a sleet fest in Durham. I hope we have an over performer and we all get crushed. Typical spots west to the Triad and north towards VA will do better. I am not complaining, we are starved and I love it. Give me that crunchy stuff. Radar looks juicy!

And to think I live literally two miles south of I-85 also. I’m soo screwed. If the mid levels continue to warm up... I want the lower levels to as well. Id rather rain than ice. BooneWX
What I keep seeing consistently in the models is that there is going to be some sort of narrow corridor that’s typical of a southern slider that’s going to over perform greatly. Seems like there’s two camps: 1. Forest City to just west of Salisbury 2. @wncsnowto Statesvegas and High Point
