No. In fact, the consensus was out to sea, didn't come back till Christmas Eve. It was a Christmas miracle. Of course, the models weren't nearly as good back then. One side of the street was swept essentially clean and the other side was buried. Hard to tell in that picture what was from drifts with then removed snow piled on.
