School systems have become very predictable. If it’s 4”+ and doesn’t immediately melt, 2 days off is a good bet these days for the central MD and NoVA crews. southmdwatcher
As per GREarth the coastal low is down to 997.5 mb about 85 miles northeast of Hatteras. Has been a broad low pressure until the past 2 or 3 hours.

Of course, back then we didn't wear seatbelts or bike helmets and we drank leaded paint. But I'm still here (though some of my friends didn't make it), so I'm not sure why kids these days have it so easy! 2

With only 3 allotted days before going virtual, I’m not sure BCPS will close. But who knows, southern part of the county doubled or more than up here. southmdwatcher
Hope we can pull 2 or 3 more inches this evening. Expecting one inch to low ball expectations. Been a nice event, sitting at just over 10 inches. We did have a 3 to 4 hour lull down here.

I love my kids to death and I'm glad they're having a blast, but they'll have been home for 2.5 weeks by the time they go back. That's kinda ridiculous. Light, fluffy snow continuing here in Burke and the radar is looking lovely.

I’ve been wanting to do it more but with the weeks of wind, I don’t want to risk it. I always have to get LAANC approval at my location which usually is approved instantly but can be a hassle sometimes.
