You make me so nervous that I'm going to bust. I know that thought is irrational but man.

doesn’t seem irrational.  Back edge swinging through western VA now.  What is on the ground is prolly what we are going to get.  There will be compaction and melting after that so even if we get anything from the ULL later, the most it would do is get us back to where we are now.  Pretty frustrating that most people won’t even make the lower end of their predicted range.

I just went outside and measured again and it’s 5”, but now mixing with sleet. Need some heavier rates to overcome this out here in Fairfax.
I cleaned off my board to measure again later.

Precip depiction and correlation coefficient are both showing it. Don’t sweat it. It won’t last that long 4f83d7de94f693dcc3e8d17055a65280.jpg

I have freezing drizzle out here during the lull. Just under 5 inches of snow. The model busts are going to be legendary here. No chance I come anywhere close to 8 inches.

At around 4.75 inches with only spotty radar returns left out west for the morning batch so also seems like this forecast may not be great for me. Glad I hedged my totals with 6-10+

There should be some back building. I don’t think you’re done until at least 10ish. And there will be some reorganization and consolidation. Don’t give up man!
