I confirm this is the claw, and it’s coming for us all.

Joking aside, what’s your bar for this event, folks?

Mine is 8”. I reach that, I would be thrilled. Anything more than that is bonus.

I've been in or very close to the jackpot zone for days on the Euro, which does not happen here. I want 9".

I see that on the map now on the upper right hand corner, but I clicked on the 23z in the upper left corner.  See the screenshot attached to here.  If it is from last night, I apologize for sharing the incorrect map.

Clear your cache or refresh. It loaded the old map.

Just to clear it up the rap was sinking south the last 24 hours after being crazy stupid north yesterday at unicorn range for that model. The last 2-3 runs have started to creep north again.

My bar is 10" here in DC just east of Cap One. Feels like snow out there, models are in alignment, and with a little help on the back end, I think we get there. This is based on 15+ years of lurking here, eastern, and fortysouth so wtf do I know haha

You had some snow before that though right? If so you have a really nice glacier coming.

Speakin' of sleet, back in 1994 when I still lived in Dale City, we got 3 inches of sleet balls. Talk about a GLACIER! It was so damn slippery I was sliding like a lemming down hills. I tried to walk on the ice like Michael Jackson, but slipped then slid all the way down lmao.

Yea man got like an inch before it flipped so it’s better than nothing for sure. The freezing rain later on is going to be unreal. Maybe the sleet will hold on for awhile because otherwise I fear what we might wake up to.

He's too humble to admit this, but @wxmeddler deserves a metric ton of credit for getting the Clarksville mesonet's snow depth sensor fixed today. Snow weenies owe him a beer!

Nothing like flashing a new operating system to a dead snow depth sensor on a sunday afternoon before a pasting.
