A weenie in Burke reported 9.6". I guess it could have happened, especially if I had some compaction once the sleet started yesterday. Since I didn't measure until well after that flip, I may have shorted myself. Curious to see if other nearby spotters report similar.

I think it's fine looking at the LSR and PNS

LOL, walked ON TOP of the snow to do the CoCoRaHS report this morning, which I had to chisel through to get the SWE. Had light freezing rain/drizzle and sleet yesterday morning which froze solid once temps started dropping in afternoon. This stuff will be around a while, currently 5 inches on the ground, 18.3/11.0.

Dale City spotter says 10.5, burke says 9.6, im averaging out to ~10 here. Very nice storm for us!

About. 2.5 snow and sleet in Forest, VA then tons of ZR.. had a departing snow shower late afternoon. Would have preferred snow but the trees look phenomenal. Pics not catching the full glimmer from the sun..

DCA - 7.2"

BWI - 6.6"

IAD - 5.1"?  That may have to be adjusted?  Did they pick up no snow after 7 pm?

Yeah that can't be right. IAD should be around 6" unless they got shafted between the ULL bands, which I seriously doubt.

They obviously messed up.. we had 6 inches by 9am.. picked up another .5 before 2 round.. and got almost another 2 inches..   with compaction at 9 PM I was at 7+

Could be 7 for IAD but the lull band missed them just to the north, and it got me a little bit. I had less than 5” before 9 am though

Final tally (after some compaction in the afternoon) was about 7" in my yard. That's averaged across several spots at 8am today. I cleared the driveway around 4pm yesterday and there was probably another 1-1.5" on there, but it had blown around a bit so hard to get an accurate measurement. That's near downtown Silver Spring.

I suppose if you look at the Burke, Fairfax Station, and West Springfield ones together then I might be low (and that's why I'm not a trained spotter lol). Either way, it was a bummer when we pinged, but there was frozen falling for almost the whole day and then we did pretty well with the ULL. No complaints!

I received 8" from the storm itself (thank you, ULL) and since then, steady upslope snow since about 8 PM last night added another 3.5" so just shy of a foot. Fluffy stuff as temps are bouncing between 14-15. Visibilities this morning have been under a mile, so this is turning out to be a fairly significant upslope event as well.

There was definitely a dead zone in Loudoun i flirted with it a few times throughout the day. 5.1 seems low but probably not too far off honestly

No they are off by 1.5-2 inches.. this has happened many times with IAD measures.  Got love they are surrounded by 7s

Looks like only a coating was added from the ull imby near DT Frederick.  Basically 3" and some change, so i was a little surprised by some of the measurements closer to 5" coming out of Frederick County.  This can be sugarcoated, but it was a bit of a bust up here.  Could barely even see the flakes during the overnight period and hardly snowed during the day lol.  With that said, there was a pleasant, effortlessness to this snow.  Once it started, it required no work.  I just woke up yesterday to snow, and I was able to get in a nice walk (during one of the times there was clearly still light snow falling).  Felt very wintry even with 3" and, honestly, there's something to be said about the roads being already cleared (or so it seems).
