If your oldest is like mine her day was sleeping late, chatting with friends, an hour in the snow, back to chatting with friends lol That will be a relief, but I'm sure you miss the days of the little ones venturing out in the snow. I had 3 a 5 year span and we're just getting into the thick of it. You spend a half hour for them getting ready and bundled to run outside and say "it's too cold" or "I want to watch my show." Scarlet Pimpernel
Afternoon measurement (around 3:00pm): 6.0". Waiting to see how much that can be topped off with the ULL bands. Went for a rather long Jebwalk to get some photos, when I suddenly realized that my right boot had somehow cracked with the sole dragging on the ground. Ugh!! I was a fair distance from home and managed to get back before the whole bottom came off!! Must have gotten brittle somehow, it was fine earlier when I was out. So my Jebwalk turned into a moonwalk!! Hope to post a couple of photos in the next day or so, when I have a chance to offload the images and process them some.

The lull lulled here. It was nice to see flakes flying, but I've picked up maybe 0.25-0.5" or so since 11 am.

midatlanticweather
The cool thing with this light snow is that it covered all the dirty snow from shoveling and plowing. So pretty outside just some light snow grains and snow flaks at times here in Purcellvillle

I know exactly what you mean! My 5 year old is suddenly 21 and graduating U MD this upcoming spring semester. Where the hell did all that time go?! You really do look back on the "old times" which were fun and really do miss them. Can't get it back of course, but as long as you keep them in your mind and your heart (and many photos!), that's what matters. I have a picture of her during the December 2009 storm (she had just turned 6), with the snow nearly up to her waist!
