The flake size will increase and should be pretty solid, but this evening will be the best time frame for larger flakes!

The radar looks insanely good right now and is setting up for a thorough beat down for several hours probably starting in the next hour or so. I'm hoping we can hit a foot!

DC is ready for a boom scenario. Reel in the 14 inches Jebman prophesied.

Confirmed. I’m a couple hours ahead of you as per radar, and this is a beat down here. After a slow start, I’m catching up

you’l get even heavier rates than I’m getting here, probably

You'll hit a foot. Maybe even a couple inches over.

Huh?  You said this pattern wouldn't produce.  I'm confused?

It kind of isn't. I am fringed,  NYC is watching. The confluence is leading to heartbreak in many areas to your north. DC lucked their way into this one.

But anyway.

Dusting here, hope to get some better rates. Looks like we get some but the heavy stuff stays to my south.

It's going to be crazy here soon. Rates have picked up last 10-15 minutes. That stuff out by you is juicy. You should definitely make a good catch up in the next 2-3 hrs, although I might be leveling with you soon on rates. Just a great storm so far for our areas.

When I nodded off you were wandering around in a bathrobe trying to find an unexpired hoagie at 3 am in 7-11.  Glad things worked out.  A nap and some snow solves most problems.

530am measurement

4.4" 25.7/25.4

A little under an inch per hour that last go around. Makes sense on radar as we lifted outside the better bands we had earlier. It's coming back with a vengeance now and flake size is improving as I type. Radar to the southwest and west-southwest look fantastic. Should be able to hit 6" before sunrise at this rate and I didn't record a single flake until 1:20am, so 4 hrs and change of almost 4.5". Not bad!
