Daniel Boone
I may end up being low on my 6-10" with foot Lollipops Call if this thing comes in more juiced like SRM's are showing. I'll stick for now though as GFS and NAM keep me in check.

Thing is, there is except for the Nam Nest and it still manages more ACCS than their Map for much of the Area.
John1122
Euro remains in the colder but very flat/low QPF in the East camp, the Canadian models are in this camp. The NAM is the amped camp. The HRRR/GFS/RAP/ICON and a few NAM nest products are in the middle camps between those two. 4

I thought they were part of the amped crowd. Maybe that and the Euro are what MRX is looking at then. They did say 3-6 inches for all of E TN with higher amounts possible. So they are at least inching that way. New map JUST came out:
bearman
It has been a long time that I have seen a point forecast in Knoxville like this. I am in the little 6 to 8 dollop right outside of Knoxville. We will see.

New map JUST came out: ] The Canadian/Euro/UKIE all have .4ish or less along and north of 40 in the East. The middle camp has .5 to .8ish. The NAM has over an inch. 1
tnweathernut
When was the last time it snowed more than 3 inches in Memphis, Union City, Gallatin, Fayetteville, Chattanooga, and Bristol (southwest, northwest, north central, south central, southeast, and northeast) from a single storm? Some modeling suggests this system has a chance to pull it off. I'd think it happened last back in the 80s and I'd think it is a very rare occurrence. 8 3

Although that may have missed the far NW corner of the state.

John1122
HRRR looks flatter/less QPF will be likely this run, but its a bit colder and just about a county tier further south with sleet so far.

John1122
The HRRR looks like it's going to slip the low just on the NC side of the Apps.
Chattownsnow
HRRR looking better for southern border counties. Chattanooga stays alive lol 5 1
John1122
It was still a big time run of the HRRR (at range, use caution) but it was a little lower with QPF.
John1122
The HRRR being colder raised Chattanooga from 3.9 to 4.6 that run. 6
Wurbus
Slight uptick on the snow average on the plumes across most of East TN. Generally about .2-.5 increase compared to 9z. I think most of that is due to slightly less mixing. 2
