bowtie`
First sunset of the New Year. Nothing special other than it was cold as **** and a pre-storm sunset. As usual, will be deleting the 2024 pics to make room for this year's crop. Pre-sunset white. Taken with the 24-70mm at 24mm... What little color there was on the horizon before the light got shut off. Taken with the 24-70mm at 63mm and cropped in camera...

About lost a little skin on the fingers getting these, but hey, the things we do for our hobbies. The yellows. Taken with the 24-70mm at 70mm... The orange. Taken with the 24-70mm at 57mm... What little reds there were. also shows the snow showers in the area at the same time. Taken with the 24-70mm at 45mm...

bowtie`
Was able to make it out to the overpass this evening for the sunset. It was not life-threatening cold anymore but I still got frozen toes and fingers simply for being out there for over an hour at a stretch. Some nice alto-cumulus pre-sunset. Taken with the 24-70mm at 28mm... Close to actual sunset there was some, just a tiny bit of wildfire colors on the horizon. Taken with the 100mm and cropped in camera...
