BuCoVaWx
Just got home from Grundy to Keen Mountain, the roads and all surfaces are covered now. It didn't take long from the time it started. The snow is still coming down fairly heavy.
1234snow
This pic was about 30 minutes ago. Untreated roads were getting dicey. Snow continues and the flake size is getting larger. Maybe about half an inch right now.
John1122
Extremely icy now as freezing rain is predominant with some sleet mixed. Temp has went down 1.6 degrees with a stiff ne wind gust on occasion. Looks like the rgem is winning here as well. The NAM showed very little ice here at all, as did the hrrr. I've already exceeded what they showed. 4

Temp has went down 1.6 degrees with a still ne wind gust on occasion. Looks like the rgem is winning here as well. The NAM showed very little ice here at all, as did the hrrr. I've already exceeded what they showed. Same here. Temp will rise .3-.4 degrees and then drop back down with the gust. Freezing rain still ongoing. If we maintain cloud cover with continuous rounds of freezing round I don’t think we will reach a high of 40 today..

Scottie16
All models showed the system over the gulf sliding north into ETN right before the front gets here but radar indicates it will actually move into the Carolina’s. Hopefully that helps with temperatures on the backside..

Runman292
Just woke up so I probably missed the event. No precip in Oak Ridge. My back road that is never treated isn't slick, so any ice that formed has melted.
