Nah this is a vintage meltdown ensuing. It’s what makes the board beautiful. High highs and low lows.

Well at least it can't get much worse than this, cold dry air and nothing to show for it. I am sure we all have lost some valuable sleep so far on this one. As much as I want to go to bed I am going to stay up and watch the Euro one more time. At least it doesn't have to load as much now to break the news to us.

The only way this could get more entertaining is if they all go back to the original monster storm on the 6z…. And both you and I know thats not happening.

All I know is we are due a storm in February or March. It's been way too long. It's literally been 11 years since we had 6" storm later than Groundhog day.

And if we get a signal, I’m going to overtly root for a super phased, negative tilt bomb in the main thread. Enough of this weak, northern stream crap where everyone hopes to get a few token flakes over a wide area.

Alligators are gonna have more snow on their frozen asses in cajun country than bobcats in the hills of WNC.

Atlanta somehow managed to get 4+ inches of snow while we barely squeezed out 2 in the same system.

Like you said, this is mostly because of the dominant northern stream. Or maybe the skies still need to heal after Helene?

I’m not sure the skies will ever heal after Helene…. Seriously though, I’m picking up a load of firewood on Monday, hope it’s enough… going to get brisk for a few nights next week…
