regardless of verbatim runs, at this point I'm accepting that I might mix or flip.  Hopefully 90%+ liquid is snow first.

I mean, we always should living here.  But dude made like it was 3 hours of pure sleet.  GFS did not show this.  Could in the future tho

I want to caution that this is just one run, and as a reminder, this is a global model that may not have the best resolution for working out the ptype details per soundings. The mesos will help us with that starting tomorrow afternoon-ish.

If this holds, should be "mostly" snow for the DC/Balt metros.

Yes there is? Hour 93 there's sleet, and after heavy snow for 6 hours or so we turn into sleet and freezing rain again.

I think its SUPERCLOSE per the soundings I just looked at for DC. There is a warm nose, but it skirts the freezing line and never actually crosses over.

Are you using p-type maps or soundings? sometimes the p-type maps vary depending on how they are calculated (even from website to website). You need to look at soundings. It might get close if rates are vey low but look above at red tagger posts.

I was using maps because WB doesn't have soundings.
