I don’t remember if there was a time the euro caved to the GFS so close to the event.  Especially with the EPS looking like that 18z did.  Do you?

Normally it’s the other way around, but they both paint a pretty similar picture at this point.  It’s not like one of them is way different.

Man I hope the Euro is legit. We will have glaciers everywhere for a few weeks. Will be like winter in the 80's.

Thursday could be one of the colder days since I moved to this region (2009).  Euro has highs below 20 for dc.  I’ll take the over on that but even a high of 24/25 is pretty remarkable around here.

I'm saving this image.  Love the bulleseye.

Amazing how widespread the pink area covers

You are looking to get obliterated Jon Jon. But what else is new? Without my grandchildren I would sell my Winchester house and buy out there while keeping my OC house like you. Enjoy brother.

Thinking Friday night?

Wouldn't be surprised.  That's about when the system enters the west coast.

Though maybe they wait until Saturday morning for tomorrow's advisories to expire.

A pretty high impact event to be honest. Big impacts from Topeka to KC to STL through Indy, Cincy, Columbus, before it gets here.

ice impacts down into Lexington.

Yea, this isn't a pedestrian vort entering the west coast...

That might be a top 15 accumulation all-time for Kansas City.

I know this doesn't pertain to us, but to answer your questions, this run would put them at #2 all time. That would be insane. I'm going to check out what they have been up to for messaging purposes. Just got settled in at work.

Fun and games now and I'm a weenie too so not pointing fingers whatsoever, but this would be a disaster declaration scenario for West Virginia.

Wow !  Much higher than I would have guessed.  And look at the years in that list !  They haven’t broken a foot in 60+ years !!

How about this list not having a storm since 1962…

Wow. Never realized how much they nickel and dime their way to snows there. I mean 16 inches is kind of pedestrian here in all honesty. 25 is a bomb for sure.
