I saw some white rain drops at times but nothing I would consider snow and there is nothing out there now that I can see. 35/34

Just read on facebook that salt trucks are out up in Pine Bush. Not really sure why, it’s above freezing, I can’t imagine any stickage on the roads, even up there

I’d believe Pine Bush has snow, there are a bit further NW from me and have more elevation. I’m tucked in along the Wallkill River so marginal events are tough here. The flip side is sometimes I can hold onto the cold much longer in the dead of winter.

Thanks Walt!! Mount Pocono reporting 1.2 inches of snow and even 0.1 inch all the way down to Leighton , Wow!  Can we expect the Mount Pocono total to be doubled tonight and tomorrow morning, Walt??

That is an option..., modeling differs.  most favor double or triple the amounts in the Pocs-Catskills Sussex County NJ, whilst the 12z Canadian likes MA/RI.

Development of the upper low to me favors e NYS/e PA...  not in stone, except am pretty sure most of I84 wakes up to new snow on the ground and/or in progress with the band of snow in CT/MA seeming more progressive to the north with the banding hanging way back of the sfc low.

Wantage NJ at 740' elevation 1" at 4A with moderate snow, all surfaces covered. Going to be some power problems when high terrain above 1000 feet gets to 5 or 6" by 9AM.

I added at 439A. Modeling suggests that snow on the grass wont completely melt til late Sunday afternoon in nw NJ...all elevations. Where 6" might not happen to melt til Monday afternoon.

32 degrees moderate snow. Looks like 2 inches so far but won't tame an official measurement until 7:00.

Waiting might have cost you the max snow depth. I had 2.6” on the board when I measured at 6:15am it was 2.6” but down to 2.3” when I just came in, a mixed of snow, sleet, and rain here. 33/31
