@Brick Tamland -Facebook dude, DID tell us it was going to be too cold to snow .

Btw, I recall the Dec. ‘10 storm didn’t start until the 26th..am I wrong? Or was it the afternoon of the 25th? I still don’t have a white Christmas under my belt.

I remember, we had family over for Christmas dinner, when they open the door to leave about 7pm, it had been snowing and eveything was white.  Va. Beach.

Unfortunately for Savannah and nearby, that 6.7” is very likely mainly ZR and definitely not snow based on 850s because they’re largely +4 to +2C during when most of 0.80-0.90” of qpf falls while 2m is 31-32F.

During hours 138-44, a good portion of that snow on the clown map is actually ZR or IP due to 850s being a few degrees above 0C.

I don't think we'll have a good idea of who gets what and how much until at least Sunday. So far we have everything on the table from nothing with the GFS to a monster storm with the Canadian and ICON. Euro gives the coast a storm, and the UK is a little further inland. I think the Euro and UK will drift NW over the next few days. I have no idea what the GFS is going to do.
