Took a trip to Danville, Va to see the casino last weekend, and I was shocked at the river and lake levels in South Central VA. Really bad. Not sure if there was enough water to get around on a boat. 1

NorthHillsWx
Honestly that storm is more believable than the fake ones that drove this board crazy last three days being there’s actually a realistic cold source

Of course the NW trend could mean much lower, especially close to the coast, would verify. So, for now I’m not buying this much will actually fall: Looks reasonable considering all the Storms and Moisture feed coming up. Some areas from the MA to NE are going to be buried when all is said and done.
NorthHillsWx Posted yesterday at 12:39 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:39 AM RE rainfall- while almost surely overdone, those amounts occur over the course of a week. Given antecedent dry conditions, this would be extremely beneficial. I’m sure some mountain areas (especially deforested areas from Helene) will see flooding, but overall this would be a positive drought busting rain.
