wncsnow
Foothills and mountains and north are still very much in the game. South of 85 probably not.
BooneWX
GFS is a decent CAD region hit. Notably, it trended SE from its 6z run.

wncsnow
Going to be a sharp cutoff between the haves and have nots. We need the front to push further south.

Brick Tamland
Just now, olafminesaw said: Canadian also has two back to back storms, the first ice, the second snow And that's the opposite of the GFS. It has the first one farther north with a little snow here and the second one is ice.

Brick Tamland
So we definitely have a storm signal for 2/11-2/14. ICON had ice at the end of the last run on 2/12 for most of NC outside the coast, and some snow at the VA border. GSF has snow for 2/11-2/12 for northern parts of NC and 85 west. Then a big ice storm 2/13-2/14. Canadian has ice for northern NC 2/11-2/12 and then snow 2/13-2/14 for a lot of NC and some ice in the eastern part of the state. I'm personally pulling for the Canadian.

BornAgain13
The 12z UK was the only one at 12z so far that was much further north but it's at the end of its run. Looks totally different from the 0z EURO.
WXNewton
12 GFS ENS. look to be headed in the right direction, snowfall starting to align more with your I85 line and def. further south than 06z and 00Z.
BornAgain13
12z EURO is stuck. Maybe it's about to break the internet? Lol
BooneWX
Admittedly worried that this is more of an ice look (for now) than snow south of VA. You’ve got plenty of cold air to tap from the north and I know we don’t live at the 500mb level but man that ridge is going to do its thing unless you’ve got a really robust high in the correct position. Trending better the past few days on blocking should help but there will be a fine line between big ice and big snow. Unfortunately, cad areas are just as due - if not more, for the former than the latter. 1
NorthHillsWx
One should root for overrunning. Anything amped is gonna want to cut. Still don’t see the cold push working out south of Virginia for snow. There is time but cold bleeding east of mountains like this is tough to work for this forum
Upstate Tiger
Really liked the 12z GFS. Interested in the Euros interpretation.
