Snowfall rates in the last 30 minutes have really increased. Received right at an inch overnight after 14.5" the previous 36 hours. Low was 12.2, currently 13.5. Looking for another 4-6" before this upslope event cuts off tomorrow afternoon. Best stretch of winter since I moved here in 2022. All of the area resorts are in excellent shape - if you were ever thinking of a weekend getaway to play in the snow to ski/tube, this weekend would be the perfect time to do it.

Getting very close to SN+ here with ~1/4 mile visibility. @jonjon my deck isn't quite as impressive as yours, but that's my goal lol. 16 degrees after an afternoon high of 18.

We were upgraded to a winter storm warning down here and I didn't even notice.  4-8" more.  I'm sure you'll get close to that as well, even though it looks like Garrett County is just under a WWA.

It's got to be close here (WSW criteria). The WWA says 6" for the 219 corridor and that would be me. I received 1.4" in about 35 minutes around 4:30 PM. I was on a work call, looked outside and told them I had to drop off. Threw on my boots and walked around the 'hood in the big, fluffy flakes. Snowing now, but not particularly hard. 13.5 degrees.

seems like DCA should get into the teens tonight.

The drop rate in temps is impressive and I’m wondering how much that will continue or level off

24.5 here and I didn’t know it was still so windy so got out to the shed no coat but getting back inside rough and had some bad shivering

if the wind levels off so too will DCA's temp drop.  But the winds are good for at least a decent low there.

Everybody is pretty equal with snow cover and winds now so comparisons are solid,  Then later like you said calming down and radiating. Get both type of samplings as to winds with everyone snow covered.  Annapolis has big body of water .  Fun observation time.  My 24.3 at 9:30 is easily the coldest for time of the season
