DCA is in the middle of an urban area that is many times larger than Annapolis.

DCA is on the  edge of a river with the river to the east north and south and an urbanized area to the west. Are you switching now off the river excuse while omitting the much larger bay, and pretending DCA is surrounded by an urbanized area and Annapolis is in the sticks?

You are about the lone soldier remaining banging the drum for all good at DcA

are you seriously arguing that the location of KNAK (the US Naval Academy) has the same level of urbanization around it as DCA?  What nonsense are you on about?  Right now DCA is at 41, and basically all the PWS around it are reporting approximately the same temp (39-42F).  It's low of 28F is mostly inline with the stations in Crystal City, Pentagon City, Rosslyn, downtown DC, Navy Yard, Old Town Alexandria, etc.  It was only 2F warmer than my station that is 350+ feet higher in elevation (but still well within the urbanized area).

again, people would complain about the same nonsense in NYC when KNYC wasn't representative of their random-ass suburb somewhere in the middle of NJ.  Sorry dude, it's not the station for your little town.

Is that at the Resort?  I've never been to that tubing park.

It's on the same side of the highway as the ski area. Super easy to get to but the lodge is somewhere else as this is kinda by itself.

@Terpeast you can get them ahead of time. I was surprised at how few people were there today so you could have easily walked up but its too far to take a chance imo. It's a 2 hour window that costs a very reasonable $36.

Thank you.  I was going to ask if you've been to Wisp and how this crowd compares.  It sounds much less crowded.  I will keep this in mind the next time I go tubing.

I prefer Canaan because it's a longer ride and they have railings on the carpets as they take you up the hill. At Wisp my friend lost his balance and took a nasty fall since there wasn't anything to hold on to. Since you are all bundled up dragging the tube, the railings help. And I just love the drive thru Davis and the valley as well. 10/10 kinda day today.
