I’ve still got a full glacier of snow pack on my north facing hillside that is relatively shielded from the sun .

Trail conditions at my local hiking spot were terrible yesterday. Greasy mud and half frozen sheets of ice made me thankful for the forecasted rain. I'm ready to start over fresh with another 10" snowstorm.

I still have some patches of snow and ice IMBY, mostly in shady spots. So that’s been 27 days of snow on the ground.

December gets an “F” but January gets an “A” for sure.

After last year, Dec 2024 must be at least F+. (Unless last year can be F-. But I didn't now there was a minus possible on F. Maybe I just don't know how to fail well, even after all those years following the Redskins)

Looks like everything shifted south with the rain...it sure doesn't look like an all day washout to me. 0.06 so far

The way radar looks we'd be flipping out if this was snow!  Hoping for some rain to wash the salt off the streets

Still looks like one batch of rain during the midday and another this evening.

Had 0.67 in gauge when doing CoCoRaHS report this morning at 7 am. That will get me closer to 3 inches for the month. Already another 1/4 inch or so from what I can tell looking out the window. Currently 38.9/38.2 with fairly heavy rain and fog.
