SomeguyfromTakomaPark Posted yesterday at 03:41 PM Share Posted yesterday at 03:41 PM New Orleans latest ob is 30 degrees SN with 32 mph gusting to 43 mph. That's basically a legit blizzard. Checked a livestream of I-10 and it's a whiteout.

North Balti Zen Posted yesterday at 03:54 PM Share Posted yesterday at 03:54 PM Good for New Orleans, what a treat, but holy hell, that's a better storm than I have seen in six years now in Baltimore/Monkton. Unreal.

We're two hours late today, but I've been told that they'll do that for cold mostly because the buses often take a lot longer to get going in colder conditions. We only got to 12, but I think that's because of the clouds that MN Transplant mentioned. Understandable call by the county to delay even if it didn't get as cold as expected. Can't wait for their cancelation tomorrow, its my "hard" class day too!

That one got me 1/2 an inch. South of northern balt county has cashed in a bunch, relatively, in the same timeframe that those of us not up where @psuhoffmanlives have been in a snow hole for years and years now. Basically west of 83 over to 95 north of baltimore has been on a six-year whiff for a storm total over 4.6" inches.

My thoughts exactly, smh Glad folks down there are getting a rare, magical experience, man that stings See I don't think anybody in this sub has had it worse than our yards...for me I haven't seen anything about 7" of snow since 2016. You gotta believe at some point it'll even out...for now we have to practice gratitude and enjoy the scenery we have But dang it that's hard to do some days when ya see something like this! Oof. North Balti Zen Posted yesterday at 05:33 PM Share Posted yesterday at 05:33 PM Took a 3-block walk to get a salad. It better be a GREAT salad. 20 degrees and a bracing 20 in downtown Baltimore, given the 10-15 mph wind...

I know the fringe E and NE area will be virga for a bit, but on the line currently tracking I could see Greensboro, Danville, Richmond and Dover being the northern edge of an inch.
