23 currently at Aldie with decent breeze. The squall left a dusting but the sun is melting that on the sidewalk now.

Got up to 23 degrees at 0950 this morning, down to 19 now with the frontal passage.

Looks like there was a bit of warm air advection ahead of a secondary front, but that's out of here. Temps just diving despite strong sunshine. Garrett County about to dip to zero. Very impressive.

Same thing I was wondering. It's 30 ar my house in AA County and most of the new snow is gone. I'm is Ellicott city now. 27 with clouds around.

Have had like 4 decent flurry/snow showers move thru this morning. I’ve noticed mby has had a few of those streamers roll off the Catoctin’s the last few years.

Same. Honestly, today has been more fun than yesterday with a few squalls moving through. Last squall was arguably the heaviest snow I’ve seen this year. Have close to as much snow from today as yesterday.

Got up to 15.7 about 45 minutes ago, down to 14.9/-8.0 at 1 pm. Will NEVER be near 1985's 7 high and -19 low for records.

For those that like to look for extremes, we have a little model battle shaping up for Wednesday morning.  The Euro/GEM/HRRR are all in the camp of bringing the final lobe of cold air in before sunrise on Wednesday, really getting us cold (about 5 for the metros, below zero for the favored cold spots).  However, the NAM, and to a lesser extent the GFS, are slower, not getting that wave of cold in until after sunrise causing it to be about 5 degrees warmer on the lows.  

There is also likely to be a massive difference in morning lows on Thursday as the cold retreats.  Higher elevations will flatline or even rise overnight while the cold pool locations will stay very cold.

Just stacking some firewood and I did notice a slight breeze picking up, so maybe the cold is coming in now.
