jonjon
Yesterday's storm was a bit of a disappointment. Only got about half of what I was hoping for. But it was enough to put us over the century mark for the season! 4

At least you don't have to deal with monster ice damn bullshit. I've got a couple of leaking windows that I'm dealing with on top of just keeping a couple of parking spots clear of snow at all times. 1

I'm noticing a fair amount of spouting ice-damming on our rear addition, which (unfortunately) receives little morning or afternoon sun from early Dec through late Feb. But we're certainly not dealing with THIS level of ice build-up nor any leaking. Seriously...do y'all have hard hats if you go out on that back deck to clean up?? I can't recall what winter it was, but I think you walked me back there to see it. That's the same house you both operated as a B & B, right? Hasn't been an issue for over a dozen years at least.

EstorilM
I forgot to post something about this at the time, but I woke up to 7.3 degrees at my PWS Thursday morning. I swear the forecast was something like 18 for my area - I'm generally up to 8 degrees colder than surrounding areas, but that really surprised me. This upcoming cold is going to be absolutely brutal. I was wondering if I might see my first negative temps (at least since I can remember as a kid) but that seems almost guaranteed now, at least mon night/tue morning.

DCA will probably get down to 10-ish.

wxdude64
Made it to 41.8 today under almost full sun. STILL 2-2.5 on the unplowed part of the driveway and 3-4.5 on the ground here at 5 pm. That is because 80% of what is left is sleet, and also why my SWE was still above 1 inch (1.05) on 3.5 OTG this morning on COCoRaHS report. Edit-already down to 31.7 at 6 pm. nj2va
I’m on hour 3 of my delay at Dallas to head back to Reagan…they’re getting a new plane now, sigh. But my partner sent me this of the deck at deep creek. Was supposed to drive tonight when I land but will head there tomorrow. 63 here / 25 there. 20 1
