JFC dude. Every shelf is bowing under weight. It’s fine though, I’ll come take some of that off your hands.

PS. Had this the other night…..very tasty.

I have a 4-pack sitting in the cellar...aging. I like New Holland's products.

Just picked up a variety of Southern Tier products....Irish Cream Stout, Mokah, and Strawberry Shortcake.

Currently sipping on a 2.5 year cellar aged Brooklyn Dark Chocolate Stout. Really nice and mellow...mouthfeel is incredible.

I was eyeing my aged Dogfish Head 120 minute....but will save that for a snowy day

Yup!  Love me some "Emperor!"  Not sure if I mentioned this but years ago when I was still living in Atlanta, I saw the Atlanta Symphony do a sort of "farewell" tour for their musical director/conductor at the time, Yoel Levi.  He did the Beethoven series, all symphonies and piano concertos.  I was fortunate enough to see some of these (I was a relatively poor grad student at the time, but dammit, who needs to eat, gotta get tickets to live Beethoven performances!), including the 5th and 9th symphonies, and the 5th piano concerto!  Just amazing!

First of all...this line: Love it!!! Spoken like a true Beethoven fanatic :D (I feel like we need to chat sometime ). And yes, I remember you telling me about that tour! (Did they make any recordings?).

And I was saying earlier that the Emperor Concerto, and that movement in particular, kindq brings up the feels because I performed it for my final degree recital at Towson U next to my late teacher Reynaldo Reyes (his teaching was pivotal to where I am today) I can't believe it's been 10 years already!

Wow. Never realized how much they nickel and dime their way to snows there. I mean 16 inches is kind of pedestrian here in all honesty. 25 is a bomb for sure.

Wow !  Much higher than I would have guessed.  And look at the years in that list !  They haven’t broken a foot in 60+ years !!

How about this list not having a storm since 1962…

Moving this to banter, but yes, it's kind of crazy that they haven't had an event break 12" in so long. They got tons of sleet and ice storms in that area of the country. They will be right on the line of the transition for this one too, but I hope for historical sake they can hang on to snow the whole event. Would be something to remember and tell stories about for generations to come.

He looked down upon the Euro

And said "Say a prayer for snow"

She handed him a cold one, whispered:

   "God will help the Bros"

He could see the models running

And said "This sure looks like rain..

 If its 33 and drizzly,

   I will never track again.

There were seven models running

On the laptop of the Bro

He was praying the eight fifty

Would be cold enough for snow.

When the models stopped, and his vision cleared

He passed out upon the floor

For the seven models running

  Showed eighteen to twenty-four.

By purchasing Wintry Mix beer from Beer Farm, I’ve decided to accept a winter storm is incoming. It’s actually palatable. Also picked up Blanton’s the other day. I don’t particularly enjoying paying a lot for bourbon, but I must say…it’s still a very good pour.

Blanton's is wonderful! Did you get their customary bottle, or did you splurge and get the Gold Label? The single barrel is so good, but the Gold label is top 3 I've ever consumed. Incredible

I grew up in southwest MO and yeah, I think the biggest snow I experienced as a kid was probably 9” or so, I want to say around 1993. It’s the only time I remember us really having enough snow to sled on, and it warmed up pretty quickly afterwards. My friends up in the Columbia area are absolutely losing their minds right now and I’m almost as jazzed for them as I am for us.

The ice storms there are just the worst, though. 0 stars, do not recommend.

Yea, that and EH Taylor are up there for me. I’ve only tried the single barrel, but that gold label sounds legit. Visiting Buffalo trace distillery is on my bucket list…they seem to know what they’re doing lol.

Euro is straight-up paltry north of Baltimore. 4.6” imby, and an inch of that is from tomorrow.

Yeah even here in Baltimore I don't exactly like that (I've also been fringed while south of me gets Pummeled a couple times since 2016)...ALTHOUGH...if the wave is gonna be more amped I think this comes north a bit and we're still in a good spot, hopefully.
