It's funny to see how many folks from PA keep commenting on the "north trend" for the Sunday/Monday event. We get it...you want it to snow more in your neck of the woods, but saying it isn't going to make it happen.

I’ve put a few people on ignore for this very reason. Gets unreadable.

I want a south trend so Hartwood gets crushed!  and our CVA friends.

Id LOVE a south trend :( I’m actually really surprised though because Blacksburg put out 2-5” for our neck of the woods and I haven’t seen that really in any of the modeling.

Ok. First true snow of the year coming! The real question. Who’s coming over to share some cottage cheese with me?

Gosh, I'd love to help you finish the cottage cheese, but I'll grit my teeth and settle for one of those beers instead!!

(Oh wait!  I see yogurt in there too...hang on a sec!)

there are benefits to it: get to wear my pjs, save money on gas/lunch, flexible hours that fit my life. I do miss seeing people but not enough to want to be in person all the time.

Exactly!  Post Covid, I've been WFH since we went through a merger and closed down the Columbia office.  It is convenient and cheaper, but I do miss the daily banter you get while in an office.

I also find that I get online earlier in the morning, and pop in more often each night than before.

You’re trying to get one of us to buy that house.

You're on to something . . .:D

I look at Zillow every day out there... much cheaper than buying a house out here around D.C.. Idk if I want to ruin any first-time homebuyer credit on that endeavor, though

This is the house he is talking about https://www.tuckerculture.com/history-of-the-meyer-house/

Listing it this coming summer.

Yeah, prices here are relatively lower than other areas, but waaaay higher than they used to be.

JFC dude. Every shelf is bowing under weight. It’s fine though, I’ll come take some of that off your hands.

PS. Had this the other night…..very tasty.

Prices only going up everywhere... not unrelated to that remote work convo some of us had earlier. If I could work remote anywhere in the U.S., would be close to where you are at. Hard to beat that snow w/ proximity to family/an area to which I'm attached.
