87storms
Stepped outside to mess with my sky view app and noticed yet another band moving thru. This one is having no issues sticking to pavement. Very wintry feel out there rn
RickinBaltimore
Well if this is a precursor for Monday, I'm looking forward to nothing. 1
87storms
Worth noting that it’s slick out there. Was out earlier and noticed a few icy spots.

mattie g
Second band split as it approached and we only got a few flurries, but that main squall was pretty f’ing cool. Nice to get a relative surprise and the first accumulating snow (~0.5”) of the season!
clskinsfan
Still have some flurries off and on out here. Temps are falling nicely 26/14
mattie g
Here’s a picture I took after the main squall. Sun was out to the southwest and reflecting off the snow-pasted trees to the east. Honestly one of the cooler things I’ve seen and I can’t recall seeing something similar before. I have a few other really cool pictures, but this is one I compressed… 14

No filters or anything…and honestly it was a lot sharper before compression. One or two others have even more contrast. Super cool to just see live. We get a lot of rainbows looking in that general direction after thunderstorms, as well. Really neat perspective.

I got two strikes and rolling weird thunder on video. The snow became powdery and was coming down super intense. The lightning, loud thunder, wind and my neighbors screaming kids made it a wild experience. Best squall of my 46 years alive.

Easily an inch in the 10-12 minutes it took to move over mby. This is the post I referenced from earlier today by a veteran reporting 1” in 10 minutes Thats two now,

I went from 43 to below freezing in 5 minutes. Within 10 minutes of being 43 it was dumping and blowing powder and sticking everywhere. Than the lightning streaking across the sky every few minutes. Totally wild. I was on the Catoctins earlier today thinking I scored. Hell.. I saw the craziest shit right here at 160' elevation lol 2
