Nice! Your good news ends up being mine half an hour later. I can see it coming...

Yes! Except, I never wish for you, the severe t-storms that turn into tornadoes, once they cross the Potomac in warmer weather...but I certainly hope you get a taste of these crazy squalls. And if you do, please post pics!  :D

Here, yes...no question.  I was actually driving back from the store.  If it had lasted another 15 minutes, roads were gonna get slick.

My wife and son were at the South Alexandria Wegmans store, I sent them the "snow squall warning" and they were both mocking me. Until they were attempting to drive the several miles home in snow covered roads and severely reduced visibility....  ;)

Still just puking snow here near Mt. Vernon.  .75” easy!

Oh, GOD, yes. I'm astounded that the ground is completely whitened...which I think @H2O mentioned just a few minutes ago. I absolutely did NOT expect this kind of squall this afternoon...although I think @pazzo83  mentioned within the past 24 hours that we really didn't need to relive a "commute-ageddon" type event, even on a lightly attended work day, and he was right. My wife and son said road conditions rapidly turned horrible during this squall.

It was so graupel like and it blew down the road to start like pebbles.  But then it just went instant white.  Amazing given the temps before and it had been sunny most of the day.  Granted the roads melted fast after 20 min but that temp drop was super quick.  Just almost flash freeze worthy.
