Jealous. I definitely missed out.

Must have just missed you then because it just missed me. Looks like another small one heading our way but a bunch of snow squall warnings out in PA. Maybe those hold together and get down here? They are far away, though and no modeling shows them reaching here.

Just measured an inch!  Sum coming out now!  That was a super fun 30minutes!

Oh yeah. Added a couple of those sunset photos to the album link I shared earlier.

It's like the 2012 derecho outside but with snow.

YASSS! The 2012 derecho was a once in a lifetime event...and so was this afternoon. Pretty sure we're gonna keep this foundation of .75" of snow until whatever falls on Sun/Mon next week.  ;)

Wasn't expecting this to happen this far south.

Calvert jackpot?  Pics from mom in Owings and sis in north of Huntingtown look to be 1-2" and still coming down good.  Hope Wes is home!!

Yeah I'm in Huntingtown.   At first I was convinced some F35s were circling overhead until I realized it was the wind line heading toward us.

1.3" here in Germantown. Confirmed with another spotter who lives next to me too. Highest rates I've seen in a while, it was like flakes coming down everywhere like whiteout conditions and whenever I'd step away I'd turn around and my footprints were covered

I don’t remember a lot of snow fog  like I just had since 2010

Really glad I chased this into VA. Caught some (distant) thundersnow, some of what seemed like the heaviest snowfall I’ve seen. Massive flakes. Was probably 0.5” between both bands if you had a snowboard. Sick stuff. Nice consolation prize. Starting a thread that sticks the landing always good too lol
