OrdIowPitMsp
MSP managed to drop to -1F before midnight so we recorded an official low below zero yesterday. It’s down to -3F this morning for our 3rd and 4th below zero lows of January.
madwx
Down to 2 this morning. A lot of the snow from last week actually sublimated away overnight from the windy and dry conditions. First time I’ve seen that occur at night time

Lightning
What an enjoyable winter weekend. It was just a blast as we spent several hours on the lake. There were a lot of people with snowmobiles, ice fishing and pick up hockey games. Yep the ice was safe enough for the snowmobilers. A wonderful weekend of hanging with the neighbors.

Brian D
Ice formation as of Jan 12. And with the current pattern through the month, this should fill in nicely. We could be looking at a high ice year. 1

bowtie`
Sometimes living in town insulates a person from some real stuff. This afternoon I headed out with the camera to the countryside and found the blowing snow still causing a few minor headaches here and there. Coming over a rise you would come upon spots like this still fairly often...

Been loving it here talking a daily Jeb walk with the dog on the ice!!

Saw some freighters out there last night but that might be the last of them for a little while. Turning into a tundra out here.
