Unfortunately this is all due to one member that shows a BECS - that’s the only snowy member for the 4th. Still plenty of time, though, ho ho ho.

There is one monster hit, but there are 4 or 5 others with frozen for the MA plus one that's suppressed south. Pretty solid signal on 2 of the last 3 GEFS runs for a potential D9-10 event.

Genuine Question:
What's a BECS?

Looks like a good track. Just marginal temps.

200 hours out so it won't looks that way in 6 hours anyway lol.

It’s an Atlanta traversed low. If that holds it looking like an A and not all the jumping around that non productive Bs go thru

Pivotal says there'll be mainly snow. Also, be glad - 200hrs out is MUCH better than 384hrs.

GFS lost the January 3rd system and looks more like the Euro now.  We'll see how things pan out thereafter.  Might take a few a days to reload the pattern after this next mild stretch, which lines up with the current ensembles and trough-y look by January 8ish.

It's good that we have a good pattern upcoming for January. It stops everybody from fighting. We aren't arguing about superficial things. We're having a friendly discussion of what were the best snowstorms. If we get lucky we could get a MECS!

Euro AI shows something like a Mid-Atlantic slider. Temperatures shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks lol. I was close lol. That was an epic storm. My county AA county got nuked by that storm. I can't imagine.

The only time DCA got above 17.8 inches. That's how it was truly epic.
