Terpeast
Gonna slide i think. Wave spacing issues as CAPE said. If the second wave slows down just a bit, it’ll get more room to dig and amp with the 50/50 established

TSSN+
Snow on snow. First event ends and it’s snowing again 30hrs later. 2nd storm much closer to being great. I just don’t want to see wave one keep getting crushed. Needs to stay where it is and maybe juice up more. Looks like a clubbing coming at 162 then it dries up a bit on the front end. Keep that intial slug plus what it shows it’s a hammer.
snowfan
First event has the looks of a cold 3-6/4-8 event that we haven’t seen much of in recent years. Low stress, no mixing.

If the second wave slows down just a bit, it’ll get more room to dig and amp with the 50/50 established Expand Yup. Need a bit more breathing room but if you flip through the last 5-8 GFS runs, you can see very clearly that the Jan 6th Storm sets the boundary (train tracks per @Bob Chill) for the 8th. That’s why this run is closer to a 2-fer than 12z. But I’m good with 6-8” with some frigid cold.
