Danger is sublimation, not melting. It’s a dry arctic airmass so you can sublimate an inch of snow in the sunny spots over a few days. It might help if the inch is pasty…more water content will make it take longer.

The "heavier" stuff looks to be north and east of me, after missing to the south on Friday. I'm not expecting much more than a dusting from this, but I'd take it for holiday mood purposes.

Well, In the instance because its a clipper, Yes, But it gets better once it hits the atalntic for DE ME, There is no moisture source as it crosses Canada, If we had this air mass over us with a storm moving up the coast, Different story.
