The Nashoba Valley is almost as brutal - 3/4" today in Townsend, 4 1/2" on the season (3" on the 12/5 was a gift). Yes, the lower Merrimack Valley including SE NH is wayyyy overdue for some goods.

The greater Boston area was at least as snow-starved and I'm glad they cashed in a bit today.

I have 1.5" on the season...

Comm ave in the city with all the lights and snow looked like something from a post card. I got engaged 16 years ago under deep snow in the common. Nothing beats wintry Boston.

I remember that...January 2009....we met up for the first time shortly thereafter.

Fortunately this happened on a post-Covid Friday cause the traffic was as bad as I’ve seen it from a storm in a while. A lot of people were off today too being he so close to Christmas.

If it was a Tue-Thur storm, it would have rivaled the mess in 2007.  Folks were really caught off guard with this one.

February 13, 2007 will be remembered for a Number of reasons, especially skipping a Final Exam because “I’m a NWS Spotter and I have to go to RI to measure the snow :scooter:!” and then taking the train from Boston in, with the most surreal of circumstances (especially the part where the commuter rail train passed Ruggles where I Normally went, and it not letting anyone on being already full from Back Bay and South Station, stranding hundreds that never got home), but there is no doubt, NO Doubt…..

That this today was the Biggest Disaster of roads / crashes / conditions for a 1” Storm in My Lifetime.  There wasn’t even close to 1” Down and crashes were Everywhere so you could say it was the Biggest Disaster 0.5” storm too (ALL Toyota Carola’s I might Add!!  Fitting into my stereotypes presently.) !!

2.25” Final

4.25” Season

Off to an Awful start as usual, but looks beautiful, outside of the guy who backed into me with no traction today.

Snowing here again ( for the last 35 minutes ). Let's see if we can get another 1/2"-1" with this last round. Seems to be moving slow

Yeah, I'm hoping to hit an inch from the last 24 hours.  That would bring me to 11 for the season.
