Started snowing just after noon way up here in the Champlain Valley. Just passed 2 inches.  Subcritical flow is trapping some moisture in the lowest levels for us (sorry for you all east of the Greens, all ur vape belongs to us) and flake quality is increasing. Next few hours should be nice.  4” by noon tomorrow would be a nice overbust up here.
I'm too lazy to put my boots back on to take a nice Christmas lights pic so I’ll just post a pic of the car after banzai’ing around in the snow running errands. Fun!

Yeah about 1.5" of sparkling fluff here east of the Spine.  Still light snow but likely in the flurry visibility range.  Did have a couple good bursts of moderate snow but they were short-lived.

Maybe a half inch here. Just a brutal start from MHT S&E  to 495 around here. I think it's snowed 5 or 6 times for 1.5" total.

The Nashoba Valley is almost as brutal - 3/4" today in Townsend, 4 1/2" on the season (3" on the 12/5 was a gift). Yes, the lower Merrimack Valley including SE NH is wayyyy overdue for some goods.

The greater Boston area was at least as snow-starved and I'm glad they cashed in a bit today.

Yeah seeing the city of Boston in the jackpot stripe was pretty cool. They’d been getting porked historically bad the last two seasons and this setup screamed of them getting porked again but not this time, they were just barely on the right side of it for once. And getting it just before a cold shot leading into Xmas was a bonus…locking in their first White Xmas since 2017.

I haven’t had one since 2019. It’s been pretty ugly. N ORH county i think had one in 2022.

Yeah. We had a pretty squally/windy event on the 23rd that gave me around 3-4”. Did some damage around here from the wind.

We also had some melting and a flash freeze.

Sneaky event.  Classic on-shore QPF look for the low level flow.
