Man that Westwood zone just getting hammered…slowly sinking south into that Foxborough zone. They prob have  4”+ there too.

Completely sympathize.

I was fully expecting mostly white rain in the city with C-1" to finish, par for the past 3 years.

Literally 5 mile of CF placement made all the difference for you guys further east.

Still have a few hours and CF looks over/past you, hopefully you pick up a few:

Was on the wrong side of the CF in Canton for a while today, but have made up for it in this band. Dumping

Maybe a half inch here. Just a brutal start from MHT S&E  to 495 around here. I think it's snowed 5 or 6 times for 1.5" total.

Stuck on a slushy coating..might be mixing with rain again. Just too close to Cape Cod bay/canal.

I was on the mid cape driving between Barnstable and Yarmouth at about 615 and I saw a blue green flash that I thought was a transformer. It wasn’t windy and only a couple inches of snow so it wasn’t a power outage. I’m now thinking lightning/thunder snow. Any way to check for strikes around that time and location. I was pretty focused on the road and not the time so it was 550 to 630 pm. On a side note I saw 4 accidents and the roads were horrible.

It was over James nichols house sent straight from the Gulf Stream!

Tapped out between 2-2.5” here in Barnstable. Once we lost the heavy echos of the main precip field, the accumulating snow went with it. 

All things considered, an enjoyable event with an interesting snowfall distribution from Boston to Cape Cod.
