It appears that the Boston snow drought is coming to an end.  My daughter who lives in Allston in the Back Bay already has between 3-4” and sent me this picture.  Big bust to the high side underway there.  Radar is crazy with the way the heavier echos are training (literally funneling) right into Boston currently.

I'm trying to figure out... was this truly a NAM coup, or was it right for the wrong reasons i.e., OES + slightly further east CF (the larger synoptic snowfall from CCB in fact remained well offshore) that achieved the higher amounts in Boston / southwestern burbs...

The nam was too aggressive this morning

… But it did have the right idea yesterday with a couple of run cycles being northwest of other guidance
