Tatamy
It appears that the Boston snow drought is coming to an end. My daughter who lives in Allston in the Back Bay already has between 3-4” and sent me this picture. Big bust to the high side underway there. Radar is crazy with the way the heavier echos are training (literally funneling) right into Boston currently.

wxsniss Posted yesterday at 12:05 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:05 AM I'm trying to figure out... was this truly a NAM coup, or was it right for the wrong reasons i.e., OES + slightly further east CF (the larger synoptic snowfall from CCB in fact remained well offshore) that achieved the higher amounts in Boston / southwestern burbs... jm1220 Posted yesterday at 12:21 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:21 AM Congrats Boston. Longitude FTW in a late bloomer storm like this. And no the NAM absolutely sucked. This morning’s 12z run had 8” here, and I’ll likely end up with 0.2” that lasted an hour on the grass before it melted.
