Lets keep that stuff south of LI from sliding too far east...if that can stay over us, then I think some solid 3-4" totals are in store for BOS to metrowest down to interior SE MA...eps like Foxoborugh area but even further south once the CF drops down.

But if it tries to slide east, then it's more like 1-3"

I think this storm is bombing out and hopefully that will push the snow shield to the NW.

This could be a heck of a bust for BOS down to interior SE MA. And I mean in a good way. Compared to the forecasts I saw.

Yep, and fwiw much of that bust so far is OES and placement of the CF

Bodes well for later this afternoon when larger synoptic stuff develops

18z HRRR looks great for 4-6pm

I just hope this busts 4 inch drought at Logan. I can stop hearing about it.

None of the short term guidance pushes it much further NW...i think the trajectory it's on is basically what we get....we'll see if it tries to blossom a bit further NW, but the short term guidance like RAP/HRRR aren't enthusiastic about it. They give several inches of snow to metro-west and SE MA, but no major totals.

Just drove across CF near route 138/Blue Hill. White rain east, 1+” west and side roads slushy/covered

Did the same drive from east to west about an hour ago. Just starting to snow when I left home but steady snow and covered roads when I got to Massasoit CC. 138 is somewhat snow covered now.

Not until after 7-8. It’s bowing back NW as LLJ kicks in.

Yeah the LLJ is helping us from metrowest to 495 to keep blossoming that precip....ther'es about 30 knots of inflow from 950-850, but it's screwing you over at the moment. The snow does linger for a while right along the coast, so i think you'll prob get some goodies this evening after the CF finally sags SE. Hopefully its enough to grab 1-2" there

That’s what I’m hoping, but it’s year 3 of the same feeling. I knew it would be a battle here. At least it’s snowing close by.

37 and pouring here. So disappointing. Thought I could get on the right side of the CF
