Moderate snow will be at 1 inch soon in Essex Fells NJ - 512' elevation. Big difference from 250 and under elevation in fairfield and livingston when I was driving.

Right now at the extreme south east portion of the circle, Red Hook, 11231, the postage stamp precipitation is very light rain. As always, hopeful ….

Probably won't stay that way. 3 miles west of the airport it's plenty cold enough and that will come in as the storm heads NE. My guess is they break their 4" snow drought today. There's already been a burst of accumulating snow there too. Latitude/longitude FTW for them in this pattern.
