Not even a flake today and 95% of pack wiped out.. high of 49.. at least we can let go of the poor excuse of looking like winter around here. Hopefully Friday washes all the salt away.

I had a good bit, but definitely decent snow around in spots away from solar Phil. Pretty much melted what we got last night but that was about it. jbenedet
GFS for today. Caught up to close, but still too cold. So trustworthy for Friday

So trustworthy for Friday The AIFS was by far the best model for temps today in the day 3/4 timeframe. I still don't entirely trust it for precip/storms, but at times it seems very good for temps/500 heights.

jbenedet
My hunch is if you warm sectored bigly today you’re not in a good spot for majority frozen on Friday.

powderfreak
6" of snow today at home, fluffy but still has some density, and still coming down steadily with 1sm visibility. Cold wind-blown stuff this afternoon. Felt like a winter storm with temps, snow and wind. Despite being at the mountain all day (9"), the MVL obs are what I think would the valley story. Largely steady light snow but some heavier squalls that put down some faster accumulations. Those heavier bursts were much more sustained and more frequent up at the mountain. powderfreak
The local zone from here in town to the ski area has done ok this winter (so far). This is the 1,500ft base area elevation at the end of today. The old Barnes Camp. A couple feet of wind-blown snow on the ground (after today’s accumulation), and the atmosphere is just in storm mode. Wind has been hammering this evening with flakes falling sideways. Summit is 60G70.

TheMainer
Did the first pass out our Northern trail tonight and in town trails to the businesses. Still need another 6 inches to do the rest of the system but hopefully between Friday and Sunday we get there. Probably ride from the house Saturday instead of trucking em 25 miles north like we had been.
