dendrite Posted yesterday at 01:58 PM Share Posted yesterday at 01:58 PM Euro gets a little tucky with some inverted troughiness up here Wednesday. I think models are still trying to feel this out.

I’m sure this will end up a NNE deal and GFS / Euro wrong but the colder trends the last 24 hours were somewhat promising

ORH_wxman Posted yesterday at 02:14 PM Share Posted yesterday at 02:14 PM Let’s get that looking more like 06z GFS which was pretty tucky for a lot of MA
jbenedet Posted yesterday at 02:19 PM Share Posted yesterday at 02:19 PM Looks more like a clipper redeveloper. Weak, late and more north than we want though. There’s a qpf min showing up across guidance where most of us live. Guidance trending drier. The initial surface reflection hits upstate NY and VT but then redevelops southeast of Portland. The secondary works for Maine not really anyone else outside the narrow IVT potential (good luck on that). Forget temps, 935mb low near Greenland ain’t gonna give this little critter the wave space to do much of anything east of CT river.

Dads have varied and clever ways of getting away from the wife for a few hours. Mine has a daily dump run, and then he'll work in some other errands. My mom is just as happy with this. Lol.

Came down hard for a few mins. Sun back out now. ORH_wxman Posted yesterday at 04:02 PM Share Posted yesterday at 04:02 PM GFS pretty weenie-ish for clipper for pike region up through S NH…has a nice IVT that extends the snow. Might be a solid 2-4”.

jbenedet Posted yesterday at 04:25 PM Share Posted yesterday at 04:25 PM GFS op the most bullish on the clippah is also trending drier with the other guidance. 2 ongoing trends- ticks south and larger shifts down in qpf overall. Boston does okay this run bc it’s the IVT, but we won’t know where that sets up until it’s actually happening.
