Just had the dog out, 11.0⁰ currently, crystal clear to my North and west, cloudy right over head on south and east. It just feels like the temperature wants to plummet, just waiting for the skies to clear....

I was just thinking, in a lot of places down south, that’s not all melting tomorrow. Then those same areas with snow on the ground drop into the 20s tomorrow night. I wonder how long it takes for the novelty to wear off?

That’s some weather phenomena that many long term residents down there have not dealt with.

Daniel Island got porked by a 50mb thick warm nose and had a sleet fest... that aint going away for a few days

was thinking about this comparison earlier, or the 93 storm how hyped that was, and delivered, my all time memory is 78, not much has topped that but Oct 11 comes close as a lifetime event.

yeah that's a close 3rd, but not as impactful as 78 or Oct 11... that was the most intense snow I've ever seen though. 96 came close at times, I was out bar hoppin in Waterbury during that, fun times.
