Wolfie quick to counter snowy, but what about RadarMan’s area?  30 burgers are tough.  I think October 2011 in the northern Berks?

I haven't seen one in the past 78 years.
However, I've encountered 7 storms in the 24-26.5" range, starting with 3/56 and most recently 2/09.

56 was great because we were 9-10 years old and 2 feet was >half our height.  Plus the wind and drifts were as good as anything I’ve seen since.

They’re all weenie DT terms anyway. I’m not sure he even created BECS…may have been added by some weenie.

And HECS always seemed like it should be bigger than MECS to me. Like all historical storms are major, but not all major are historical.

Just my 2¢

I never use those terms. It’s like the stupid names of storms TWC has. Weenie fodder.

Historic is above major any time…goes without saying.
