It’s never a good sign when you are looking to the long range during peak snow climo. Some of the other boards im on I am seeing a lot of 300+ hour maps being posted, in my opinion that means winter is cooked. In a normal winter we would be consistently tracking 1-2 threats inside 7 days late Jan-the first half of Feb.
George001
Also, good winters like 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 by this point in winter already had at least one major storm

Damage In Tolland
Everyone grabs 1-2”.. spot 3” tomorrow night into Wednesday and then Ginx squalls Wed afternoon. Not terrible . Rainy Friday afternoon .. terrible
ORH_wxman
WINDEX numbers Wednesday late PM/ early evening are pretty impressive. The only thing we're missing for a huge event is the lift is a little so-so.....but everything else is really good. You have very steep lapse rates up to 600mb and plenty of low level moisture to work with. Hopefully the arctic front is consolidate enough to produce good lift.

Everyone has been advised and will be in touch with their DPW... Even a light coating on cold road surfaces during the overnight / predawn hours makes them nervous... Would expect minimal impacts if crews are proactive... 2
