Spanks45
-8.3⁰ will do it....if it wasn't cloudy until 1030 last night, we would have easily gotten to double digits here
mreaves
I feel gypped, I only got down to -8.6°. It looks like there was a little bit of a breeze through the night. Maybe that was it.

Hazey
Pond and lake skating will be epic. A winter activity i haven't been able to do in years because lakes never froze over long enough and safe enough. A rare opportunity to explore some areas that would be hard to get to otherwise. We lace up our skates.
weatherwiz
I actually had no clue it was as cold as it was. I was outside clearing off my gf car because she had to go out and I'm a frozen popsicle...the kind that's been in the freezer for a year and is freezer burned, that is me. I can't feel my feet. I didn't even have gloves on at one point but when I went back out I put some on. If I knew it was around -10 I would have worn boots and two layers of socks...UGHHHHH
HIPPYVALLEY
Before we left for school, I let the boy pour a cup of water on the hood of the car to watch it slow motion freeze.
Chrisrotary12
How off is my temperature sensor? I’m at 427’ and it reads 5F. KASH is 180’ and -10F. Does 15F over 247’ make sense?

It looks like our weather pattern will not start getting stormy again until later next week. So, we might eek something out around the 31st.... But more likely the start of February. It's slow torture ( but hoping something makes up for all of this waiting and watching the Gulf Coast get slammed ). Our turn will come.

WinterWolf
Solid 3” pack and frigid temps…at least it’s legit January conditions and deep winter. More snow would be great. But I’ll take this over mild and damp/rainy anytime.
