A solid, moderate SWFE/redeveloper would be nice on the 6th. I just want some guaranteed rejuvenation to the pack going into the colder pattern in case the 9th doesn’t happen or ends up sheared/LBSW.

That’s a good way to think about it.  Super cold with bare ground sucks.  If the sixth is still there on Tuesday, I’ll invest lol Definitely a fear that the blocking will be so strong after the sixth that north of the Massachusetts’s gets leftovers.  Though it does seem that a lot of models take the heavy snow right up into NNE.

Storms that are 3-4 days apart isn’t that rare. If it’s like 1-2 days apart it’s much harder to do.

If two storms hit in succession as in one and then the next , that is back to back . Whether it’s 2 days or 5. It’s not hard to follow

It's somewhat semantic, but I agree if we get two 12"+ systems within 3-5 days, for the purposes of the last two winters, I consider it back to back.  In college, if we were with two different girls within 7 days, it was considered back to back.
