I hope we can squeeze at least an inch tomorrow and maybe Tuesday ends up popping for us. If we get rain next week I'm selling and moving to Lab city. Finally move back north and can snowmobile out of my garage door and had the worst possible snow seasons since I did... Didn't quite reach 30 here but the first sunny day since 12/26. The 2 intervening weeks featured 9 cloudy days and 5 PC - dark times. The 7" armor plate is tough enough to hold my 230 lb while wearing street shoes.

HoarfrostHubb
Went for the first walk around my neighborhood in over a week. It’s been cold and windy since at least last Thursday. This felt good.

It was amazing to see people skating on the pond in Easthampton center and tons of fishermen out on the Oxbow.

HIPPYVALLEY
@40/70 Benchmark I have a good feeling for our latitude for that period around MLK Day. I think we get a nice overrunning or SWFE.

Torch Tiger
It's like the 80s early 90s again. I'm old and do vividly remember when SE MA 3-6" to slop/rains we considered really good events, esp. if there was a swiss cheese pack leftover. Looks like we're back to those realistic expectations

Middles of lakes and ponds here still wide open with the vicious winds.

The smaller ponds with taller trees around them are solid. Drove past the small pond on Springdale ave in Dover today on way home from work and it’s pretty sheltered in a low area…not surrounded by tall trees like some others but it’s low laying….totally frozen with kids playing hockey on it. tavwtby
we need to get a good bowling ball come down and pop off the coast to ease the tension a bit, I'd love for a region wide KU with wind etc, but I'll settle for something in the cold that's been around for awhile now, shame to waste it.
