weathafella
Indoor treadmill workout tonight. Took a break from the cold and wind. Actually it’s a better workout but you have to have a distraction-tv.
FlashFreeze
30° and ready to leave Pawleys Island SC for East Hartland. I’ll be going through areas that have had snow, VA Maryland and PA. I came down here a couple days before Christmas after being in Hartland for the month after Thanksgiving and thought I would be missing all kinds of terrific snow events, lol. Been following the angst over the lack of snow but if we get a decent amount of snow before the end of the month and February and March are snowy I think most will think it was at least a decent winter. Which is understandable. I tried to only include reports that are missing <1000 days, which is actually not that much over 9,125 days, about 10%. I also have the 1981-2010 and 1990-2020 Northeast maps from the NWS on our site as well. https://www.jdjweatherconsulting.com/average-seasonal-snowfall 2

Over the past couple years I've found the recumbent bike in front of the TV and under the fan is a great way to distract from the effort. Love the workout, but HATE being overheated

alex
The wind stopped here but the snow continues. It’s been a great week from that perspective, just shy of 6” total in a Narnia-like pattern. Roads not great but not awful either.

Is Kevin slant sticking? 58.6" is nowhere near Kevin, in fact it's not even in CT. That's North Foster Rhode Island. Kevin is in tolland. Also none of these reports come from here, it's all COOP data. See 1991-2020 on my site for comparison in that area.

I think that's the high elevation spot in RI with a touch of it creeps into Connecticut.
