Some people here would be perfectly fine with you morphing into the equivalent of someone who touts penny stocks as the road to being wealthy..

This isn’t true either(for most of us).  Most of us aren’t unreasonable.  Gotta see how things play out. It’s that Simple.

At some point we want to see the ops start producing events.  Yes they are op runs, but they’ll start to bare fruit if the pattern is legit.

Exactly, OP or not when the pattern is ripe to produce the model cinema increases dramatically and we could actually have something to be positive about, lol. The flaccid runs we are seeing at nauseam just keeps the psyche on defense

It’s a shit argument…kind of like saying the first two days of January might be above normal, so January is above normal.  But knock yourself out.  This isn’t last year.

You can't win with some of these people on this forum... You're either on one end or the other ( kind of reminds me of something we just went through in November ) Ha!

Gotta love coastalWx though, he's the first to jump all over you yet he's all over the place with his thoughts... lol. Well, he's got his followers. I can give two s**** who follows me or not. I'm not here to stroke anyone's ego. If I'm gonna be blasted for staying optimistic then so be it ( I find a lot of humor in it actually ).

mm, relative to this 2 week window, incoming?   absolutely - that would help the white glovers' case

however, i advance that the op runs are as guilty as the pattern selling by ens', but with embedded emergences when they are there.    just sayn'/adding

Why are you tagging me to that post? And how am I all over the place?

Sometimes the op runs can hint at things. For instance the ensembles hint at cold, and sometimes you see those ops drive massive arctic outbreaks into the CONUS. You know not to take them verbatim but they hint at things.

i was referring to the operational 'model magnification' aspect wrt to amplitude.

a s/w and resulting affairs are attenuated something like 15 to as much as 40% over whatever is embedded in the late mid range+, over time.   it's really an aspect i factor in.

anyway, the ens means are over doing these patterns out in time.

the operational runs are over doing embedded features, after that fact.

in principle, it's an issue with modeling tech in general

Truce man!!

I'm not here to call you out with this he said she said crap.  I just don't like being attacked just for being optimistic. I think we all want the same thing. And yes, I get frustrated too when s*** doesn't pan out.

You can’t really hate that GEFS look. Let’s hope we can grab something.

We’ve said this a lot over the last couple years. However; the favorable periods have been very short; and failed to produce.

i think most are in “believe it when I see it” mode, which is completely fair at this point. Results matter.
